Oh my goodness, I can't believe that I woke up at 6.30 am today when I am suppose to school by 7.30 am. Actually, my alarm-clock did ring, but I decided to get a few more winks because I really can't wake up. By the time I reached Commonwealth MRT station, it was already 7.20 am, and if I'm not wrong, that stupid bus 100 just left. What luck. But luckily I saw a few more bandmen there, and we decided to take a taxi to school. =p So we were 2 minutes early. =x

Hmm, the exchange at RGS went pretty well lah. I think we did better at RGS than at Yuhua the last time. This will be our last exchange, and we have another rehearsal at the Singapore Conference Hall next Sunday, after which it will be our big day, our SYF, which will be on the 12th April. I wish Chinese Orchestra people the best of luck. Their SYF is this coming Wednesday. Ours will be exactly one week and one day after theirs.

Haha, the hall in RGS is air-conditioned lor. Ms Chan told us not to be suaku over there lah, and since I didn't "stone" there because Ms Chan told us not to, I shall be suaku over here my blog. I think air-conditioning really helps lor. In this way, people will not get so bothered by the heat and feel sleepy and not concentrate on what they're suppose to do. Frankly speaking, I really like RGS's choice piece lor. They really played very well! =D I just feel that other schools are only so-so. I've got no comments. But well, we really played better than at Yuhua lor. I mean, we cue and jerk together, we did almost everything together. The french horn solo today was really nice lor! =D Haha, I shall stop talking about the exchange here. Anyway, jiayou bandsmen! Aja aja hwaiting!! =D

And yes, today, we had one of those very rare section lunch! Almost everybody went lor, including me! =D Haha, we ruled the upper deck of bus 97! And that was where I got addicted to Shi Xian's "Flying Finger" handphone game. =) It's so addictive can? I only played it twice on Jennie's phone leh. After that, we went to JEC for lunch at Kopitiam. Aiyah, I kept playing wth Shin Xian's Flying Fingers game lor. I think I drained her battety. If so, I'm sorry. =p

Then almost everybody went to take neoprints lah. Jia Yi, Shi Xian and Farah didn't want to take it, chicken them. So anti-social. Xp By the way, the neoprints turned out to be very nice! I'll try posting it here some other day. I don't have a scanner at home, and I can't find the camera, so I presume that my father took it out of the house.

On our way back home, there was a very long queue outside JEC because of some Suria channel Idol or something lah. I knew there were a lot of Malay people there, but I didn't realise there was a camera there, until I saw Farah they all standing at one side, then they told me I directly faced the camera-man whose camera was facing me. I and Zhi Yi were like, "OMG! We're going to appear on the Suria channel!". Argh! Hopefully not bah, but if I really appear on TV, at least not many people will know, because nobody I know will be watching the Suria channel because that's a Malay channel. But probably I'll become an overnight star! =D

Just of entertainment's sake.

Haiz, today's lessons are so boring lor. We had double Maths lessons because of Monday. Ms Vijay took up our Maths period so that she could bring us to Battlebox. But Maths was alright I guess. I mean, we're learning quadratic curves now, and I think I can cope bah, at least, I understand what Mr Liu is talking about.

I shall talk about CID. zZz, Hui En didn't come today lah. Hmm, she was already sick yesterday, but she still said that she would be coming tomorrow, which is today. Look at what happened? She didin't even turn up for school. ='( Haha, she should be lucky that she has such good and responsible team members who finished up all the work for her. =) Yup, we finished creating 5 poems liao. All that is left is only to touch up our product to be ready for submittion.

Good thing is, there wasn't any music lesson today, although I'd rather that there isn't any music lessons on 12/4, which is our SYF. Aiyah, since I had no music lessons, I thought of going for sectionals, but I had a quite a severe headache leh, then I felt very giddy, so while walking to the band room, I decided to go home straight. @_@ Haiz, I don't think Ms Chan will let us stay at the Singapore Conference Hall to listen to the results lor, so I think we still have to go back to school for lessons. zZz, why must Thursdays end at 3.45 pm? Why must my music lessons stretch until 6 pm? Boo... I'm really praying that there isn't any lessons for me on that day, because I want to go out and have fun! Please... please... no lessons for me on that day.

Yes, today's be Strong, Geum-soon episode is really nice leh. True to those reviewers' reviews, the show really got better after Chenghuan died leh. Today's episode was like, so heart-wrenching? Geum-soon was chased out of the hosue by Chenghuan's mother, because she thought that Geum-soon indirectly caused the death of her beloved youngest son. Geum-soon then pleaded with her father-in-law to save her, but he also chased her out. Left with no choice, she decided to go, and her grandmother called her. She lied to her grandmother that both her in-laws were treating her very well, and that she's feeling very blessed right now. I really felt like crying for her lor. She was robbed of her wallet while finding a job to support herself in the streets of Seoul. That's really very sad lor. You can really imagine the pain and agony of not being to find a job and indirectly causing the death of someone she loved. Then the episode ends with Taihuan (Chenghuan's elder brother) asking his mother to eat since she hasn't eaten since Chenghuan's death. His mother stubbornly refuses, and Taihuan begins rambling about how she used to dote on Chenghuan more than him. He said that Chenghuan was a very clever and obedient boy who always listened to her, thus earning the affection of his mother, not like him, who is jobless and a good-for-nothing. He then begs her to have breakfast as that is his farewell before leaving for the army. Aiyah, I don't want to put down everything here, but it's really touching lor. Even the mother was lost for words. Haiz, I wonder how Geum-soon will end up leh. She really seems very pitiful now. ='(

Oh my goodness! I just want to scream, yes scream out in surprise? Huh? There's a new CCA called the Soccer Club, and guess who's their captain. Yes, it's just non other than Calvin Chan, that git from 3G, that git who was once my tablemate in Primary 4. Argh! I seriously can't imagine him being a CCA leader lah. I mean, he has got that constipated look when he went out during morning assembly to promote his CCA. Everybody, let's scream out in agony. The world is really coming to an end.

We did Chemistry experiement today again! Aiyah, it's just basically finishing up what we couldn't finish yesterday. Nothing great happened, except for the fact that Adna accidentally added ammonia and caused the whole lab to stink of ammonia gas. I really felt so sick after smelling it. =x Oh yes, what's so lame about me huh, Jun Wen? Never mind about that. I refused to help him fill up his test tubes with Fe2+ solution. =D And that retarded eunuch Wei Kai kept using my sink to wash his test tubes, making my table and worksheet wet! Argh! Retarded ancestor Cassandra ah, please help me punish him. =(

Band today was alright lah. Ms Chan is quite happy today lah huh. She spent about 20 minutes talking to us lah. Haha, she said so many funny things today. Alright, perhaps those things weren't meant to be funny, but she made them sound funny and homourous lah. =D I shan't elaborate more liao. I should keep a low-profile about CCA.

Today's Be Strong, Geum-soon! is quite nice lah. I mean, the show is really getting better and better, and not as boring anymore. Geum-soon and Chenghuan got married today, and because Geum-soon saw her grandmother crying, she wanted to console her mah, then she missed a step and fell flat on her face. That was really very embarassing lor. But very hilarious! My mother was laughing like mad lor. Haha, and I heard that the show gets better once a certain character dies, and that shouldn't be long ahead. Tomorrow's episode looks like a sad one, because I definitely saw something ominous in that trailer. Oh well, I shall keep my fingers crossed and hope for more drama in that series. Aja aja Geum-soon! =D Han Hye-jin seriously rocks! I must see her in Jumong!!

Not bad huh, I mean today. Yeah, it's really a very nice day! First lesson of the day is Chemistry, and we finally got to do some experiments! Yay! Second lesson is Biology, and we got to do experiement again! Yup, some experiments concerning the testing of fats, sugars, starch etc. After that it was recess! =D Then Chinese wasn't too bad lah. Oh yes, Singapore Studies is always very funny with Ms Vijay around. I think Indian teachers are very dramatic lor. Both my Biology and SS teachers tend to have very big reactions when people like Shane crack some funny jokes. Needless to say, they're both very good and funny teachers! =D

Yeah, after English, we had to go to the Battlebox at Fort Canning Park to witness how Singapore fell to the Japanese in World War II. Aiyah, the trip is quite educational, but I think our tour-guide is scary leh. He's been through WWII you see, and he talks as if spirits still linger in that Battlebox. He says he's been praying everytime he steps into the Battlebox, because he can feel the spirits around him. Never mind, forget about that.

Oh yes, here's my entry pass to that Battlebox. It cost me $3.

Alright, one more thing to note. Gar Yim is now my long-distance retarded cousin and Cassandra is my retarded ancestor. @_@

Haha, I came back quite late yesterday, so I didn't blog. Ya, as usual, badn practice. I think band practice was alright lah. I mean, we played in the hall, and it beats playing in the band room, where the stupid air-con has just broken down again. Argh! Why must is happen now lah. Do you know how close we are to SYF? Only 18 more days lor. Oh man, I'm going to hate this coming Tuesday, because Ms Chan mentioned that she wanted to concentrate on the SYF people, and I suppose we're going to practise in the band room. Grah... the air-con better fix itself or else I'll find all means to skip Tuesday. =x But on second thoughts, I think I better not skip Tuesday. I have to practise lah, although I love playing S***** now because I think I got the hang of everything now, including part I. =D

Anyway, I had dinner at Furama Palace to celebrate my aunt's birthday! And yeah, she gave me a belated birthday present! =) Thanks! Dinner was relaly nice lor. I think the total cost came up to be $300+. Alright, I shan't blog anymore. I want to revise my Biology liao. I must maintain my good results this year. And also, I must make it a point to save $2 a week so that I can pay some part of my end-of-year Japan trip instead of my parents paying for everything. See, I'm a good and sensible girl! =) Goodbye.

Well, I guess everybody is in the mood to talk about self-discipline lah right. Half the Chinese lesson today was doing some psychological test by Ms Zhang lah. We had to answer a set of questions, then add up the total marks according to the answers. Those who got 36 marks and above were considered to be one of very good self-control and self-discipline. Zoey is crazy lah. She got 41 marks alright? That shows that she really has very good self-control and self-discipline. I only had 34 marks, which means, I do have a fair bit of self-control and self-discipline, but I can't resist the temptations to slack or whatsoever.

Then today for band, they talked to us about our upcoming SYF. We're going to have another music exchange on the 31st March with Raffles' Girls' School lah, which is like the top girls' school in Singapore, so we should feel honoured that they invited us. Yes, they talked about self-discipline in band today too. Seriously, I think our band's attitude isn't right leh, but I can't point out what's really wrong, though I have sort-of an idea. Then today when Ms Chan only said that we should be happy that if during SYF we get a Gold award, my heart sank lor. I really felt so sad and scared after hearing that. I mean, are we really that bad?? @_@ I know this year's SYF batch isn't as strong as the last, but... are we really of that standard? I admit our playing at Yuhua wasn't of our best, but at least everybody put in effort. Aiyo, Ms Chan said that other schools are very confident of getting the Gold with Honours award this year. Nevertheless, this will spur me on to play better for SYF. Nothing can daunt me, or daunt us. We'll never say die so easily. We're not as weak as you thought. We're so going to prove others wrong. We're going all out to impress the others. Yes, we must impress everybody in the hall, not just the judges, but also the audience, Ms Chan, and more importantly, impress ourselves. =D The real fight has only just begun.

Today's Parents'-Teachers' meeting wasn't that bad. At least my mother didn't make such a big fuss when she finally knew I didn't pass my Biology paper. Mr Suresh told her that quite a number of 'A' level stuff were tested in there, and the questions are more difficult than the Sec 4 questions, so my mother kinda forgave me, I hope. =p Mr Liu didn't say much also lah, he just said that I'm very sociable and got along well with everybody in class. So this time, no teachers spoke bad about me, so my mum and I went off in a happy mood. And yes, because I went off early from band, I got to reach home 40 minutes before 7 pm.

Yup, I watched Be Strong, Geum-soon! too. Aiyah, I feel that the story is going a bit too slow leh. Nothing exciting happened except for the fact that Geum-soon got pregnant at the age of 20, which is shocking enough to me and her family members. o_O Come to think about it, her grandmother looks a bit like Ms Lee leh. Oh well, I guess most old people look alike. =p But I'm hanging on to this show because I've really heard many good reviews about this drama leh. They did mentioned that the first 5 episodes were boring, but the story would pick up from there. Oh well, I hope it lives up to my expectations bah.

There's band practice tomorrow at 8 am. I wonder how I'm going to wake up lah. But I will still wake up. Don't underestimate me. ;)

Today was a very long day lah. Erm, 21 more days to SYF. I have to jiayou from now on liao. We must get back the Gold with Honours award this year.

School today was boring. I nearly felt like sleeping during Ms Zhang's Chinese lesson. We had a debate mah, but actually, the debate is quite interesting. Deng Yin and Wei Kai kept trying to "shoot" each other down lor. But the weather was too humid lah, thus I felt like sleeping. Sorry for that. =(

Anyway, tomorrow is Meet-the-parents session lah. Die lah, I wonder what is Mr Liu and Mr Suresh going to say to my mother. I have gotten such horrible marks for Biology lah. Crap lah. If it wasn't for my article review, I think I would fail Biology lor. I seriously hope that none of the teachers talk bad about me. =/

Thank goodness I managed to rush home on time to watch Be Strong, Geum-soon! Hmm, so far, I think the show is progressing at an alright pace, although it hasn't reached the point where I would chase it like crazy. But from the reviews I read, I heard that the first 5 episodes will be a bit draggy, before it gets more exciting. Aiyah, just wait and see lor. I think I won't be able to rush home on time to watch this drama tomorrow lah, because band always release us so late. But if I have to accompany my mother to the Meet-the-parents session, there might be chance that I may have to go off early. Heehee, then I can rush home and watch my show! =D

Aiyah, I haven't been in the mood to blog lah. I'm not even in the mood to use the computer lor, so I shall try to keep this post short and sweet. Yup, first, I need to thank my mum for buying me Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Yeah, only $19 lah. It's already very cheap lah. But my Order of the Phoenix book was only $20, and it was hard-cover mind you. So I think I got a better deal for my previous book. But still, many gamsahamnida-s to my mum. It only took me one day to finish the entire book. =)

Next, our SYF date is already confirmed. I'm not sure if I can post it here, but nevertheless, I should be happy that it will be on a Thursday, and according to He Ling, I should be able to miss the whole day of lesson. In a sense, that is good, because my lessons on Thursday only end at 6 pm. Anyway, if you really want to know, it's 22 days from now, so count it by yourselves. I think we're performing on the second day of the Concert Band SYF. I wonder when are the dates for Choir and Dance. Never mind, can ask Charlene for Choir and Natasha for Dance. =)

I went to Jurong East library with Hui En totday because she didn't want to go home lah. Then I was suppose to find some books on poems for our CID, but I couldn't find them lah, so in the end, I decided to read comics. Hmm, have you heard of Honey Mustard? It's actually a Korean comic translated to English. It's really like the Korean dramas lor. Girl and Boy get married against their will, but as they get to know each other more, they begin falling for each other. Well, you can guess the rest. =p

I promised to keep this post short and sweet, so yeah, farewell. I'm going to read my Order of the Phoenix. *^^*

Today is the first day of term 2. I shan't say anything lah. It's a totaly disaster today. I kept have stomach-ache throughout the whole day lor. Gosh, I have to endure another 3 months of schooling before the next long holidays will be here. I hope I will survive. Singapore Studies was the first period, and I was almost falling asleep. I didin't managed to complete my reflection for Ms Vijay lah, and unluckily, I was called up by her to present my reflection. Hmm, she seemed to be calling me quite often nowadays lah. I don't know what's wrong with her or me. =/

After first break, we had English lah. Mrs Tan started to scold us for something which I forgot about lah. Never mind about that, she's been hating my class since her first day with us. But good thing today she was cock-eye lah. Our lesson with her was suppose to be 11.45 am, but she saw her lesson with us as 12 pm, so she only came in at 12 pm. Haha, then we had 15 minutes to ourselves lor. She didn't tell us to present the speech today since there wasn't any time. =D At least I have more time to practice my speech lor.

Anyway, I've gotten my class tee-shirt already! It rocks lor! I seriously love my class tee! It's freaking nice lor! Woots woots! I love 3 Bang Bang Tang!! =D And I got a Piglet badge that came together with it! <3 Luckily Adna didin't take my Piglet badge, because she's a fan of Eeyore. =D

This is the front view of the shirt.

The back view of my shirt. This part really rocks lor!! =DD I simply love it. Even my mother agrees! =))

Alright, I guess that's enough for today. Bye bye!

Today is a pretty saddening day lah. Nothing seemed to have gone right for almost everybody. =( Oh ya, we reached Yuhua at around 10.30 am so that we could watch some videos on how the Japanese bands played their pieces. zZz... actually the video was quite "entertaining" (I think it's the correct word to use, no sarcasm intended), but oh man, Yuhua's bandroom was freaking cold lah, so I concentrated more on getting the cold out of me once the cold got the better of me. Alright, this whole thing is so cold. Brr... Anyway, Ms Chan told us which band will be coming to Sngapore to visit us, but I suppose not all information can be revealed right? I shall keep my mouth shut then. Lol, a certain school is playing a certain piece that one of the Japanese bands played for their competition. Heehee... that's all I can reveal.

Combine today never went as well as last Saturday. Ms Chan was really angry with us lor, say our discipline has really gone down and that she's not happy with the current EXCOs. Then Ms Chan let us keep out instruments liao, then the EXCOs scold us. =( And yeah, Swee Ying scolded us. Oh man, it's the first time lor. I've never seen her that angry before. I think we're partly to blame lor. So... I must remember to wear my black band tee, my band badge, school shoes and RV socks tomorrow or risk pumping 100 times on the spot in front of other schools. But anyway, I've always been a good girl except that I could be a bit forgetful must remember to put on my band badge.

Haiz, I hope we can do better tomorrow during the performance. We should do Ms Chan, the school, the band, the seniors, and most importantly, ourselves proud, if not we will never get Gold with Honours this time round. I shudder to think if we never do well this time round, and other performing arts groups get that honour, band will be despised by other people. No, I don't want that to happen, and I hope that it'll never happen. *prays hard*

Just begin random here. I bought soya ice-cream from Mr Bean together with Chua Shi Xian, Jia Yi and Daphine. Argh! Daphine kept telling me that her ice-cream isn't sweet at all, and I would always go "It's the healthier choice!" -.- Since when is soya ice-cream meant to be sweet huh? @_@ Ignore me, I'm just laming away here.

I met my drama group today on what to do for tomorrow's drama lesson. Lol, sorry lah, I was late by 15 minutes, because I just can't wake up. Oh man, I better wake up earlier tomorrow. Erm... met Zoey, Daniel, Victoria and Gar Yim at Bukit Batok today. Although Jing Yuan and Chin Hui didn't make it, at least we still did something meaningful like acting out the roles and getting ready the props. All the best for our performance tomorrow.

Anyway, I went down to Lavendar today to make my IC. Er... Daniel also wanted to go with me because he also had to make his IC lah, but he didn't go with me in the end, because I alighted at Jurong East to have my lunch. Yup, had lunch at KFC, but I couldn't finish because I ate onion rings while the rest were eating their lunch at West Mall. =p OK, beck to the IC thingy. That place was quite crowded lah, probably because it's the school holidays. Anyway, the procedure didn't take long. They only needed my original birth certificate and my thumbprint. Crap... still have to pay $10 lah. But the lady serving me was nice! =) And that made my day. The end.

I'm just so relieved. Yup, really relieved. I made it out of the examination room ALIVE! Yup, that's the most important thing. =p Haha, it didn't go as bad as I thought. At least, I didn't screw up the whole examination like last year. Will I get a Merit grade this time round? I do hope so! Oh well, I still mixed up one of my scales. The examiner just suddenly asked me to play left-hand F# melodic minor, then I was like "Huh? Left-hand ah?" Then she was like "Yes. Left-hand." Aiyah, when I practise, I don't play separate hands lor, so I screw that scale up. Otherwise, I think it was pretty alright. Haha, the examiner is nice lor. She's like those younger generation type of examiners, so she didn't look that fierce or anything lah. Actually, I wasn't that nervous when I played lah, but don't know why my leg kept shaking though. And some more, it was shaking when I was playing the third piece lah, which required the pedal. Oh wait, I think I released the pedal too loudly, because I could hear the pedal going "up-down, up-down". zZz... Oh well... Just wait for the results bah. =)

Oh no...

I'm getting the jitters now... Oh man, tomorrow is my piano exam lah, and I heard that the examiner is a lady?! That's even worse alright. I've always done very abdly under female examiners, I don't know why lah. So far, I'm doing quite alright for my daily practices. Just hope that I don't screw up during the examination. I always tend to feel very nervous and I can just start playing nonsense lor. That was what happened last year lor, and caused me to get only a Pass for my practical. What the, this year must get a Merit lah, if not I have to keep re-taking it until I get a Merit. Oh well, but good thing is, I don't have to go for band. I find that going for band is a very sian thing to do, especially when it is held during the holidays. Grah... I mustn't screw up tomorrow... I shall aja aja my way through! AJA AJA HWAITING!! =D

I went to Lot 1 again today. I drank my Soya ice-blended from Sweet Talk for the second time straight. Aiyah, I just didn't do much lah, but I'm blogging so as to kill time. @_@ And yeah, I did more BlogThings since my sister is on the phone with her friend so I can't practise my piano. =(
